Who are you?

My name is David Steed. It's my pleasure to meet you. I am a family man that will be going to optometry school soon, but love video editing so much that I just can't stop. I have really learned to love the challenge of taking something old and not so usable and then, with a knowledge of masterful tools, create a timeless masterpiece that can be called a families most treasured possessions: Your memories.

Why do you love video editing so much?

Well, I love watching home videos. My parents have over 65 hours of home videos that I have transferred to DVD for them. I also have 5 years experience at Brigham Young University as a Video Tech/Editor where I learned the detailed art of video editing. I have been training on the world-renowned Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro Programs while learning Avid Pro, Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Illustrator CS and Pinnacle Studio. Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro are used by Hollywood Productions Companies to make movies and commercials.

Creating a quality product is of the upmost importance to me. I use the best equipment possible to ensure the highest quality. A brand new $3,000 PowerMac G5 combined with a $850 JVC digital to analog converter provides maximum quality. We also burn the DVD’s to DVD-R which is the most readable format while offering the new Dual Layer Technology.

The final product has not only "wowed" my family but all those I have done DVD transfers for. One of the best things about the way we do business is we offer you opportunities to talk directly to the editor. We love to hear your opinions about how you want your memories preserved.
